We offer tailored lunch and learn workshops led by psychologists and qualified counselors. Sessions last 1.5 to 2 hours depending on topic and are experiential based workshops designed to address common workplace and well-being issues.

to improve executive over-all wellbeing on the following topics:

Improving emotional resilience

This workshop offers executives tools and insights into how to develop emotion regulation, develop an adaptive and flexible mindset and bring greater mindfulness and reflection into your reactions and also bring greater self awareness. This workshop also imparts knowledge on dealing with anxious thoughts and switching to a growth and resilient mindset.

Mental health first aid

This workshop imparts information on how to recognize signs of mental health issues, and approach peers with sensitivity and recognzing signs that you or a colleague are not coping. This workshop will discuss how to offer peer support and offer a brief overview on some common mental helath disorders such as OCD, PTSD generalised anxiety, panic attacks, self harm and suicidal thoughts and how to use skills such as non-judgementalness, empathy, active and reflective listening and offer sensitive responses. Self care techniques in the presence of high anxiety. and stress will be taught. Participants will be able to observe role plays.

Improving sleep

This workshop imparts techniques and tools to improve your sleep through evidence based research and Eastern therapeutic practices such as breath work, bio-feedback, meditation and and thought diffusion and acceptance techniques. Executives can gain insights on how to deal with difficulties with falling asleep as well as getting back into sleep. Participants will gain insights into the different stages of sleep, their effect on the health as well as the symptoms of various types of sleep disorders, and their impact on your physical and mental health.

Meditation for peace and stress release

This workshop serves as a meditation guide on how to deal with posture, mind-wandering, directing and re-directing attention and staying in the field of conscious awareness and dealing with some common obstacles during meditation as well as pointers on cultivating introspective awareness. Participants will be guided into a basic led meditation experiential practice. We offer advanced sessions on meditation which include topics on developing intentional and introspective awareness to remain focused in the meditation practice whether it is your breath, mandala, mantra or meta cognitive awareness.

 

Rhythm, movement, drama and art based workshop for stress management

The creative use of artisitc media such as music, drama, art, dance and movement offers a therapeutic holding space to experience oneself and others at the workplace. Participants will be led through a process of creation through expression, artwork, music and movement based on the expressive form opted for to experience new perspectives, insights for improved expression and stress release. Participants can work with different materials such as crayons, water colour, music, therapeutic use of movement to further emotional and social integration at the workplace.

Beating burnout out

This workshop offers insights and tools on recognizing signs of burnout, management plan to cope and information on the biological responses to burnout in the short term (acute stress), medium term ( in the event of deadlines, a looming project or approaching close to your stress threshold) and Long term stress when you are past your stress threshold capacity and the different strategies for coping and repair. This workshop offers insight into the Impact of stress on relationships, health and mental health issues.

Stress Management Techniques

This workshop imparts tools and insights on the psychological and biological nature and impact of stress. The workshop will help participants understand the various maladaptive versus healthy coping skills as well as helpful evidenced based stress management strategies including how to assess and monitor your stress levels, learn relaxation techniques such as visual imagery, grounding and mindfulness techniques as well as solution tapping techniques in combination with self care techniques. This workshop will also impart tools on boundary setting and assertiveness skills on how to say ‘no’ when required and also adopt healthy and creative outlets.
